Anthropic just introduced the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a limited liability company (LLC) that would get 5% of the company’s equity if shareholders sign off (about $48B at its May valuation), plus more as Anthropic’s value climbs. As a company-owned LLC, Anthropic said the fund could back nonprofits or “direct distributions to specific populations,” with no stock going to lobbying or politics.

Google has released Harness² to let AI agents test and refine their own working setup without developers having to design every change. Agents can adjust 8 parts of their setup, including instructions, memory and tool guidance, while the underlying model stays unchanged. One refinement step raised GLM-5’s WorkBuddy-Bench score from 64.2 to 75.7, beating Gemini 3.5 Flash’s original setup in the same test.
Apple is already working on developing a higher-end version of its HomeView display with a robotic limb that can automatically swivel the screen toward whoever is speaking. The company's own advertising for the $299 HomeView makes a compelling case for why a motorized version is needed. The device was designed to be controlled primarily by voice. While the HomeView is a pretty nice offering for $299, its design clearly shows it was a product conceived years ago.
Elorian released Glimpse, a new visual reasoning model designed to keep looking at images and videos while it thinks. Most multimodal models inspect an image once, convert it into tokens, then reason from that representation. Glimpse can go back to the source, zoom into specific areas, pull more video frames, and run code to verify what it sees. Elorian calls this a “visual scratch space.
Anthropic published a study on how AI has changed its own workforce, finding that employees’ agents logged 6x the hours of the people running them by August, while junior roles make up a shrinking share of the company’s technical hiring. Juniors went from 27% of Anthropic’s technical hires to just 9%, and about a third of its machine learning managers said AI had them hiring less.

How to build a personal decision simulator with Claude

Open Claude > Projects > New Project. Name it after the decision you’re working on.
In the Project, click the + in the knowledge section and upload any useful files, notes, budgets, comparison tables, or research.
Start a new chat inside the Project.
Sample Prompt: “Build an interactive decision simulator for [decision] comparing [Option A/B/C] across [criteria]. Use adjustable weights, 1–10 scores, and automatic weighted totals for each option. Add editable Best/Base/Worst Case scenarios and show how each changes the rankings. Highlight the leading option, key trade-offs, and the variables driving the result most.”
Open the Artifact Claude creates beside the conversation and check that the weights, scores, scenarios, and totals are interactive.
Adjust the sliders or input fields yourself to test different priorities, costs, risks, or assumptions and watch the ranking update.
Use the chat beside the Artifact to request any structural changes, such as adding a criterion, changing the scoring scale, or adding another scenario.
Reopen the finished simulator later from the Artifacts tab and reuse it with new decisions or updated assumptions.
